Following the announcement of our first-female chef, renowned best-selling author and TV presenter Rachel Khoo, KETTLE® is proud to launch The KETTLE® Khoo Academy - a mentoring programme supporting individuals seeking a career in gourmet food, and in a bid to help combat the disparity between men and women in UK kitchens, with women contributing to only 18.5% of chefs in the UK.
The six-month programme launches in October 2024 offering mentees 1:1 creative time with Rachel Khoo and hosted comprehensive virtual workshop sessions in branding, creativity and PR skills with a £4,000 bursary allocated towards training or other support.
Candidates are to share a post on social media, tagging @kettlechipsuk, explaining why they would like to be considered for the KETTLE®️ Khoo Academy and the gourmet KETTLE seasoning they’d create given the chance along with an email summary of their cooking experience and social post links. Applications open from Tuesday 3rd September until Saturday 27th September and must be sent to apply@kettlekhooacademy.com.
The KETTLE® Khoo Academy has been created to empower and equip aspiring food entrepreneurs with the essential skills they need to run a successful restaurant or gourmet food business.
